This Museum House was bequeathed by Doctor Mena to his heirs and today is known as “Casa de los Alfaro”. Converted into a museum, it has been decorated with elements from a well-off rural house.
The building in which the museum is located is known as “Casa de los Alfaro”, because the family of this name remained until year 1,999,when it was acquired by the Island Council to be used as a Museum House. This building is characterized by its considerable dimensions, in relation to the domestic buildings of the surroundings.
